Narconon Trois-Rivieres Celebrates Victory over Drug Abuse in 2010
Trois-Rivières, Québec, Canada: Narconon Trois-Rivieres saved lives in 2010 and vows to save even more people from the grip of drug and alcohol addiction in 2011. Marc Bernard, the Executive Director of Narconon Trois-Rivières expresses joy over the many people who have beaten addiction and now live happy, healthy lives. He continues on to say: “A person who has become free of drug and alcohol dependence is not only improving the quality of his or her life but this also helps to create islands of sanity in the communities where the ex-addict returns. With this in mind
we, the Narconon Trois-Rivières Staff and I, are committed to do our
part in 2011 to help even more individuals to beat their addiction and
therefore contribute to better our society at large.”
Graduates of the Narconon Trois-Rivieres program and rehab center in 2010 praise the program and staff. Some comments include:
“This program has changed my life completely. I have never completed something big in my life and this is a huge step into my life. My perspective on life has changed completely and I’m looking forward to starting a new clean sober life. Thanks to the Narconon program and the staff.” — C.S.
“I feel so happy to be a whole, solid, strong confident person again. It is great to have found me again!” –S.K.
“The feeling I have now after completing the Narconon program is something I never thought would be possible for me. The tools the program gave me, the knowledge and the confidence to live a drug free life exceed far beyond any expectation I had when coming in the program. I know now that I have the control to be the contributing member of society that I always wanted to be. All the wins and gains that I got out of this program are unexplainable. They are going to be carried with me for the rest of my life.
“I saved my life with the Narconon program; my decision to come to this program was the best decision I’ve ever made in my life. I’m looking forward to applying everything I’ve learned here when I leave.” — A.S.
The Narconon Trois-Rivieres rehab center is committed to change even more lives in the upcoming year by providing more information and out-reach to communities. As one of the graduates in 2010 states: “I love this program. It’s not easy but it makes you so strong!” — M.R. Narconon Trois-Rivieres gives straight answers and has a proven track record when it comes to success.
Drug rehab at its best can be found at Narconon Trois-Rivieres, and the words of the graduates speak volumes to their efforts. Those who have completed the program (and Narconon boasts a very high rate of success) could not imagine having chosen a different drug rehab. They are truly happy, changed people through the efforts of Narconon Trois-Rivieres and their successful program methods. One graduate constructed a lengthy “thank you” to the staff at Narconon. This, in part, is the sentiment it conveyed: “And today, not only do I have my life back, and a drug free life, but I have gained SO much more. My belief in myself is BACK. For the first time in as long as I can remember, I have self-worth. Actually, I don’t EVER remember ever feeling like I WAS worth anything, to anybody since I was a child.” –L.V.
The beginning of the New Year is the perfect time for people to admit to their addictions and seek help. Narconon Trois-Rivieres will be there to provide that help. Their knowledgeable staff and proven methods will allow even more people to become drug and alcohol free in 2011, thanks to their drug rehab.

The Sensible Present for a Loved One Stuck in Addiction
- Narconon Trois-Rivières Drug Rehabilitation
So, while we are scurrying around trying to find the perfect gift for everyone on our list, the question arises; What do I get for my addicted friend (loved one)? The biggest mistake people make this time of year is ignoring the problem of alcoholism and drug addiction. Denying it, or ignoring it won’t solve the problem. The loved one with the addiction doesn’t “need” money (you know how they’ll spend it). They don’t need a new robe, or a new coffee mug. What they need is help. What better gift to give than a spot in an effective drug treatment center such as Narconon Trois-Rivières? It’s a gift that will always be appreciated in the long run.
Ending the cycle can bring new possibilities to the loved one who is going through addiction. Narconon Trois-Rivières and other effective drug treatment centers provide all of the tools needed to beat the addiction and go on to lead a happy, healthy life. That’s quite a gift! It probably won’t be warmly received at first, but once they have completed the program, they will agree that it is the best gift they have ever gotten; the gift of living life anew. They probably would never expect the gift of effective drug treatment, but it is what is needed.
Happy Holidays!
Narconon Trois-Rivieres Holidays Message -Please, Don’t Drink and Drive
How often those words are spoken, and yet so many times they are just dismissed. Sadly, it sometimes takes a personal tragedy to make these words seem important. There would, realistically be far less tragedy if people would only heed the words; Please don’t drink and drive. Drinking and driving causes a staggering loss of life, not to mention some life altering injuries.
Holidays and social gatherings go together. If only more people would realize that they can be just as fun, just as joyous, without alcohol. Drunk driving causes more deaths during the holidays than any time throughout the year. No one is more aware of this than Narconon Trois-Rivieres, which has an excellent alcohol rehab program. Sadly, too many people wait until the damage is done to seek treatment. Drinking, drinking and driving, and fatal accidents all go together. Sometimes, the person drinking isn’t even the one driving. Many pedestrians are killed as well while under the influence of alcohol.
Drinking and driving is literally a game of roulette. No one ever thinks they are too impaired to drive when they have been drinking, but the results are devastating. Many times, the survivor, the one who has been drinking and driving, must live with the consequences for the rest of their lives. Taking another human life is not something that anyone takes lightly. Narconon Trois-Rivieres is there to help. Sometimes, just calling and getting straight answers is all someone needs to get help.
“Please, don’t drink and drive”. These are five simple words that can save so very many lives and prevent so many useless deaths. Drinking and driving are a deadly combination. If you do drink, please have someone else drive. Many taxi companies offer free rides home during the holiday season for people who have been drinking. It certainly is worth checking into! Even if you must foot the bill, $20 is a small price to pay to know that lives may have been saved.
Everyone should be on the lookout for those who have been drinking and driving. Devastation can happen in the blink of an eye. It is best to do a lot of defensive driving, especially during the holidays when people are drinking and driving. Don’t let yourself become another statistic. If you drink, don’t drive. If you will be driving, don’t drink. It’s simple, really.

Holiday Freedom Fighters Partake in Narconon Extravaganza
Trois-Rivieres, Quebec, Canada – “Awesome to see those who got me through my own program, and congrats to those there now facing their issues. Happy Holidays Narconon!” commented a viewer of the Narconon Holiday Extravaganza. With a full audience and people watching over the internet, this particular holiday special turned out to be quite the event. It had a very festive opening with French Canadian singer Lea Morganne singing, Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree, while being backed up by the Narconon choir. “The talent that young lady has is incredible and she really started the show off right,” said Marc Bernard the executive director of Narconon Trois-Rivieres.
These live graduations hosted by this Narconon in Canada are done no where else throughout the Narconon network. “It was great to be able to provide an exciting way for graduates and students of the program to pass along holiday wishes to their loved ones who were watching at home,” commented Bernard. The holiday season can be tough for individuals who are battling drug and alcohol addiction, and many addicts never really see any hope that sobriety is possible. The Narconon drug rehab program in Canada plans to continue to broadcast special live graduations a few times a year.
“It was an absolute pleasure to MC the event and be part of a special holiday gift for everybody,” said Marc. The show ended off quite emotionally with Lea Morganne singing a beautiful rendition of Halleluiah. The musical talent combined with the inspirational speeches, and of course the graduates, which are the real reason Narconon host graduations, all made this holiday extravaganza something to remember.
